Well fellow bloggerinos here is my review of Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom (it will be split up to cover both areas)

Geauga Lake: I start off by heading over to one of my favorite Roller Coasters which is Head Spin. There was no wait for this one so I head right up the the very front. The staff on this ride was friendly and curteous checking my shoulder harness and all the other harness and dispatching the train in good time. Overall a very pleasant experiance it is no wonder that Angel (my girlfriend) and I ride this one as much as we can. Next up is the 1925 John Miller classic woody the Big Dipper. This ride has a special place in my heart for one reason and that is because it was my first adult coaster Angel sits this one out which is a shame cause I would of loved to have ridden this one with her. Anyway, I enter the car and pull down my lap bar to a unique (but not in a good way) feeling, the lap bar was digging into my gut (time to lose weight? I think so) but still it does not hamper my ride as I soon remembered why I loved this ride in the first place. It is quickly paced, has a lot of air time, and is an overall classic ride. The staff on this ride was friendly too even joking with me a little bit. After the adrenaline rush of both Head Spin and Big Dipper I head off to The Villain a ride which I was not too crazy about the first time I rode it although for a woody it was smooth.

Oh my gosh how things have changed I still dislike this ride to an extent the ride itself however shook me like a rag doll and left a decent sized bruise on my leg. The staff on this ride was good a bit on the lazy side but they were polite and did what they were supposed to do when it came down to it (however not as quickly as they should of.) Then I hit the Double Loop another classic coaster in it's own right. The first coaster I ever rode with inversions. Since I last rode this ride it has gotten a paint job and a tunnel before the first hill. The experiance was a bit differant than I remembered it but it was still fun . It had some good air time and the loops are still smooth. Employee wise this ride has a good crew that know what they are doing.

After the Double Loop I decided to try and ride that someone told me I would not be able to fit on which is the Thunderhawk. I walk up to the station and board the ride (another walk on however give the park time they will draw crowds with the direction it is going) I get in the seat and pull down the harness and *gasp* Oh my hearts, stars and green clovers I can fit on Thunderhawk. For the first time in 3 years I decide to ride Thunderhawk and I had a good time I , however, was reminded why I am not a huge fan of this ride it is because it is a bit rough especially for a SLC (suspended looping coaster) Another good crew that knew what they were doing. After the head banging fun that is Thunderhawk I rode Dominator which is the only B&M that the park has but let me tell you something it rocks. Thanks to the "Big Boy Seats" I can ride this magnificant beauty of a floorless coaster. The ride is as great as I remember and it easily had the best crew I have encountered on any coaster there.

I decided "What the Hey" and rode Raging Wolf Bobs after I was done on Dominator. In a way i have always loved this ride however this season I am not too impressed and I'll explain why. A few seasons ago they took off the traisn that they had running on it and replaced it with the third train that was on Villain. The main differance is the new train is open air and has a bar that coems down that smushes your legs together it is painful on Villain and , sorry to say , it is painful here too. The layout of the ride itself is fantastic and while the park is working on refurbishing the ride it is really noticable where they have not done so yet. Crew wise it was one of the most laid back (second only to Villain.) Overall Cedar Fair looks to be making some improvements with this park and I wish them the best of luck drawing crowds once again because personally I love this park to death.

note: X-Flight, Beaver Creek Mine Ride, and Steel Venom not reviewed one this trip becasue I did not ride them but since I made this trip I have ridden all but Steel Venom so here is a short synapsis)

Beaver Creek Mine Ride: A small but enjoyable ride with a decent crew

X-Flight Easily one of my favorite rides in the park intense, flying sensation the crew however is a bit lacking in the speed department while doing their jobs.

Steel Venom: I have never ridden this ride but once I am able too I will post a review.

Wildwater Kingdom: Here is a review of Phase 1 of the new Waterpark

Once I got to Wildwater Kingdom and actually able to do anyhting the first thing I hit was Liquid Lighting which (in a nut shell) is a funnel slide. Holy Mackeral is this thing sweet. It is intense, full of suprises and the ending is excellant.

Next up is Coral Cove which has three basketball hoops, a whirlpool and other assorted activities. A very nice addition I like how they added water basketball. After playing Basketball with Angel for about a half an hour we go into the lazy river (sorry the name escpaes me at the time) It is about a half a mile long and pretty good it feels like a combination of the two lazy rivers at Cedar Point's waterpark Soak City. Thats all I can say aobut it really. I have yet to do Thunderfalls waterslide complex when I do I will be back with a revision of this review.

That about sums it up for Wildwater Kingdom. I do have to add the follwoing thoughts.

The Theming is very well done nice touch with the paradise theme. The Lifeguards are on the ball and I would like say Good Job to the crew of Liquid Lightning for helping this big ol' boy get into the innertube.

That about wraps it up for my review of Geauga Lake and WIldwaterkingdom if you have nay thoughts, questions or comments feel free to e-mail me it should be in my profile.
