It is official I am ultra excited for the opening of Wildwater Kingdom which is located at Geauga Lake. While I do miss the Sea World portion this new waterpark is going to be huge (20 acres) and features lots of cool stuff like Liquid Lightning which is a waterslide with a big funnel at the end (kinda hard to explain but it looks sweet.) The relocated Thunder Falls which I have yet to experience (will do this year). And finally the park is getting a "lazy river" similar to Soak City's Renegade River which features waves, water falls and is quite intense for what it is. So as soon as this sun burn is officially gone I will be heading out to Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom to check out the new improvements on the old Sea World side of the park. While I have a season pass but if you don't it is only $25 a person to get into both parks a very, very good price because you get a lot. Look back within a week or two for a (hopefully) huge review of Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom (I am including both parks to point out the improvements made to the Geauga Lake side.) From what I have seen on at Geauga lake it is vastly improved from last year I am not too critical of them last year since they only had 3 weeks to transition from Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure to Geauga Lake.
